Paula and some of the others that replied to this thread MISUNDERSTOOD the context of the wording.
The original message was simply reporting the breaking news, it was NOT making a political statement.
The title of the message was "Workers at Walmart.....", and the sentence was CONTINUED in the body of the message with "vote yes on Union".
I don't think Joe Frabosilio, an esteemed contributor to RT and an avid trader himself is an union activist spamming our beloved list.
Puhhlease............
Happy trading,

Yes I do agree with the economic portion but i could have done without the "Vote yes on Union"
part of the message. That's what I was really addressing.

RT's,
Unions invading the world's largest retailer is an extremely relevant topic
to post on Realtraders. Labor cost is usually the first or second largest
expense for any business. Maybe this is why Wal-Mart stock is down 28% from
its 12-31-99 all-time high.
Unions impose an artifically high costs (labor, legal, and administrative)
on businesses and those increased costs will ultimately be passed on to
consumers. But maybe this isn't important because everyone knows that
Greenspan doesn't put any emphasis on Labor Cost in determining Fed policy.
Sincerely,
Howard
