  <DIV><BR></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>On 12/5/99 I posted the following forecast
  regarding the DJIA:</FONT></DIV>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>
  <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>"In summary there is evidence that this move up
  could incur significant resistance at the current levels due to (a) the
  resistance of the 8/24 top, (b) the fib. expansions of the previous
  retracements. However, there is also evidence to support an expectation of
  only a minor retracement from here and then a continued move up to the 11,800
  - 12,000 level by 12/14. "</FONT></DIV>
  <DIV>While my timing was obviously wrong, the attached chart shows how close
  we came to the forecast area Note that the DJIA moves in energy levels of 240
  points and topped out close to 49 X 240.</DIV>
  <DIV>Now it is of interest to speculate how far down the DOW will go on this
  bear run. The chart shows a minimum expectation of 10430. Note that
  retracements often end at 50% of the energy level which is 10440. Let's watch
  to see if the market follows this scenario</DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2>Disclaimer - not an advertisement</FONT></DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>First, let me say I&nbsp;have not been an astro buff up to
this point.&nbsp;The complexity and learning curve were too far out for me.
Norman's posts have been intriguing, but beyond me to come up to speed
to&nbsp;understand since I could not see beyond the moon.&nbsp; Admittedly I am
a software junkie and will try most anything once or twice or three times.&nbsp;
The chart on this post and the next post are enticing enough to raise an
eyebrow.&nbsp; I have been a fan of Krausz Fibonacci Trader and when I upgraded
to 3.08 I saw a link to the Quick Harmonic Trader.&nbsp; That's for me,
something quick.&nbsp; Course Norman will say "got to learn astrology
first".&nbsp; Not me, am too impatient to draw some lines on the chart.&nbsp;
This QHT comes with a built in ephemris that is easy to use, its there and
Norman said it was important.&nbsp; You can download the excellent free manual
and get a 30 day free trial for the stand alone QHT, <A
href="http://www.fibonaccitrader.com";>http://www.fibonaccitrader.com</A> or <A
href="http://www.marketdetective.com";>http://www.marketdetective.com</A> or <A
href="http://www.galacticinvestor.com";>http://www.galacticinvestor.com</A>
.&nbsp; The manual is a great bargain if you want to find out what some of the
terminology means, like Aspects, Harmonics, Opposition, Trine, Square.&nbsp;
This stuff is all greek to me, but the pictures reminded me of geometry classes
in highschool and brought back some nostalgic memories of my facination with
planets when I was a cub scout.&nbsp;&nbsp;Each cub in my pack had to give a
presentation at a pack meeting.&nbsp; We each held a piece of cardboard with a
planet&nbsp;painted on the front and a descriptive paragraph taped to the
back.&nbsp; My planet was Mars.&nbsp; Thus the first chart I made with the QHT
was with Mars conjunct Moon True North Node.&nbsp; "Mirror" lines can be plotted
for bear markets by changing one parameter from "N" to "Y".&nbsp; The HMirror
chart on the following post has to do with Aspects and Harmonics, whatever those
are, the software has buttons to push to plot the Harmonics and the Harmonic
Mirrors from one to four.&nbsp; Since the INDU has been below its 50 day MA and
now has several closes below its 200 day MA I thought it might be intersting to
see what the first Harmonic Mirror reflects on the current trend of the OEX
since its the options I am really interested in.</FONT></DIV>
