Utilix (UTLX) has a market cap that is below this years sales
figures which suggests that an inefficiency exists in how
investors are currently pricing the stock. According to the
fundamentals page, the market cap is just north
of 40 million while according to the most recent earnings report
9 month sales were north of 75 million. And the company is
profitable:
For the nine months ended December 31, 1999, the Company reported revenues of
$76.9 million and net profit of $1.8 million, $.24 per share, compared to
revenues of $58.0 million and a net loss of $5.7 million, $.77 per share, in
the same period of the prior year.
Utilix has a product called CableCURE that rejuvenates aged cable
in the ground: instead of replacing the cable at considerable
cost, Utilix rejuvenates it at reduced cost by squirting in
CableCURE. the existing cable does not have to be replaced
and the quality of the rejuvenation is of a quality that Lloyds
of London is comfortable insuring:
