Date function in TS4 bld25

I have several systems and indicators that have date for one of the input
values that do not function properly when the date entered is after
1/1/2000. For example if "StartDte" is entered as 991021 then no problem but
when it is entered as 000115 then calculations are not correct.
  How should Jan. 15,2000 be entered? Do I need to change the code for the
systems and indicators? If so, could someone please give me a very simple
example. Thanks much.
