Hi Andrew,
WinWaves is referred to as "the idiot box" by some of the members of an
Elliott Wave forum. I was told by one of the people who was involved in its
development (at Elliott Wave International) that they never could get it to
do Elliott analysis as they would have liked, so their involvement with it
ended.
Personally, I'm unimpressed with some of the wave counts I've seen that it
produced, but it's better at it than Advanced GET (IMHO). I wouldn't bet the
farm on what any computer-generated wave count says anyway... I'm no Elliott
expert, but that's my two cents.
