Marlowe,

I've heard people lose money while trying to trade with 50 ma and 200ma,
with Gann Angles, Elliot waves, retracements, etc. Just because one person on
the radio said he lost money using Astrology, doesn't mean it isn't worth
looking in to or giving it lack of credit.

I would really like to talk with that person and find out, what there
trading plan was. How did they react to changes in the market, etc. The
reasoning here is this person could have been using Astrology but didn't have
the right mind for trading.

I haven't studied Astrology, but do plan to with Norman Winski, starting
next month. Reason, I want to learn more about Gann's methods.

Alphee Lavoie wrote an article in Traders World Magazine and called the
Change in Trend for the market on the mark. A couple of months before the
magazine was printed and distributed to the masses.

Norman Winski, in August 1991, took the award of the Trader's Challenge from
S&C Magazine. Plus many other awards.

So, how can a system work for one trader but not another? This depends on
the trader, what were his factors in the trade, etc.

TradeWell,
