Along the same lines. A stranger got off a Greyhound bus from another state
and walked up to the first person he saw and asked, How are the people in
this town, are they nice or nasty? The wise old man asked "How were the
people in the town you just came from? The man replied, Oh, they were very
nasty. The people are the same here, replied the old man.
