Yes, that is the way I figured it in regards to someone actually being a
personal student of Gann himself. To me this business about Dr. Baumring and
who had what first is laughable, because this guy was just another
pretender, promoter himself. He was not an actual student of Gann's from
what I have gleaned and it sounds like he didn't even have a direct
connection. Maybe, he was an astute speculator but it sounds like that was a
big maybe.

I know that a good many traders around here regard Gann himself as not much
different from another good promoter. It is interesting to have a little
light fall on the subject so we can decide for ourselves. When I look at
what Gann had to say it's not that different from what everybody says are
sound trading principles. Such as always stay with the rules, always use a
stop, always trade with the trend. Don't over trade and don't expect to be
rich overnight. You get the idea.
