Are you surprised by CANSLIM"S effectiveness? I find IBD's stock ranking
combined w/CANSLIM to be the best thing that ever happened to me as a
novice trader(3.5 years practice). I tryed options on futures, futures
,and most of that crowd selling the perfect system....
A subscription to IBD has helped me learn more about stocks than I ever
have thru various books etc.
I know the recent Bull run has helped, but those IBD stock ratings
really do work. I trade software cos. and use IBD as the initial filter.
Oh yeah, I'm just an old Architect trying to make a little extra cash,
no affliation with aforementioned newspaper. My trades are up 155%
in 8 weeks. (I have lost a few too)

I thought you would be interested in seeing what I
just read on TRADEHARD.com in the Interview section.
Here is an excerpt.

Dr. Christian Kacher, portfolio manager at William
O'Neil + Co. Both have increased the accounts that
they've managed from between 350% and 440% this year.

first of a two-part series of interviews with Morales
and Kacher."
I actually took two trades using the Cup and Handles
off of Tradehard.com and returned 58% on my account.
So now I am actually looking at the stocks on
Tradehards list to short term trade.
Just thought I would share the info to you all....old
techniques are still profitable.
