The folks with AOL have a problem receiving two .gifs.
AOL will "miminize" two .gifs. Yes, that is not a mispelled
word..."Mime n nize". One .gif seems to get through to them
ok. This problem may be with older versions of AOL and not the newest.
Also AOL has some configuration options for aol and attachments on receiving and
sending. For info on this, ask AOL.

Mervin,

  In the past, the maximum
  file size (attachments plus text) was set to approximately 65K. As you
  know, we switched listserver last week but I suspect that the administrators
  kept the same parameters. Thus, 60-70kb will probably be your max.

  This limitation was implemented in order to protect members
  from exorbitant bombardments of large downloads from the Forum.
  Personally, I would recommend using either Hypersnap or SnagIt and then save
  the image as a .gif file ( Typically generating a file of approx. 12-18k
  )

Hope this helps,
John Boggio - RT Moderator

At 08:33 PM
