I did trade Top Step Bonds for 2 years with 100% performance per year, using
my own parameter sets, however average trade net of costs and slippage was $50.
Performance is still positive but steadily declining over the years. It used to
be 200% and is now more around 50%. I traded many thousands like that, and
found myself quite exhausted. I've dumped it and trade stocks, indices and
bonds now, but part time, and only looking at charts, not using any mechanic
systems outside my own reflexes acquired in in a half a lifetime. With a 0,4%
risk per trade I made 50% this year. So what? Well I actually view the top Step
horror experience of permanent stress as having forced me to become totally
numb, therefore absolutely disciplined. SO I liked the Top Step for what it did
to me but can't recommand it to anyone, who has no experience of scalping ticks
while not on the floor. $50 is 1 and a half bond tick on a rounf trip, staying
in position overnght, during reports etc: gotta have nerves.
