I have developed a trading system that uses a "phantom" equity curve as a
filter for taking a trade. Other than a negative write-up in the Trading
Game book by Ryan Jones, has any realtraders done any or seen any studies on
this technique? FYI - I got the idea from Joe Krutsinger at a seminar in
Denver about three years ago. It was a suggestion he made but he showed no
results. I got the impression he personally used this technique, but he
wasn't ready to go public with it.
