Could someone help me?

I can't figure out how to get my portfolio from Brown & Co.(in an html table)
into a spreadsheet.

I need to save it as an .xls file. From the browser, I can only save it as
various strange and internet files (htm, html, asp, ccs, etc.) So I can save
it as an htm file than, offline, I can read it in Explorer but can't convert
it to a spreadsheet file.

Normally I work with html files in Word, but when I load this file into word
it doesn't display properly - the table is missing all the important data.

I load it into Frontline 2000, but there again you can't save it as an xls
file or even a comma separated data file.

The only way I think I can do it is to print it on paper , then scan it back
in but this seems unnecessary. There's got to be an easier way.

Any ideas?
