Well, first of all, while I might like to have "censured" (reprimanded)
Larry for his posts to the forum, I believe he might rather assume he was
"censored" (oversight by deletion). My guess is there was no censorship
involved... he was told to stop posting his materials, based on what I and
others had complained about.

To the extent I was "up in the air" the other day, I guess you are
addressing me. I post here when I have something to say... not often
perhaps, but what I've posted has been MINE, not parroted from my reading
materials. Yours are some of the posts I also enjoy, because it is YOUR
information. Larry got into the nasty habit of posting (exclusively, I
might add) stuff that he was picking up from various e-locations. I also
have access to e-locations, as do you and every other member of this forum.
NONE of us dump our detritus onto the forum like Larry did. Most recently,
he was posting multiple messages daily (four each day this week until
today), with effectively no commentary of his own. And the burr that got
deepest up my butt was his double posting the Harry Schultz Newsletter on
Tuesday. He's not even evaluating ("censoring") his own posts, and for that
he deserves to have a lid put on him.
You know... some of it I might have been interested in, if it was just
posted with some degree of sensitivity to the goals for this forum. Or if
Larry had deigned to offer some TRADING commentary, as most contributors
here do. ("Hey ALL, take a look at the setup in Dec Gold... all that crap
I've been posting from the Cafe is just now STARTING TO UNFOLD!!!")
Instead, we get after-the-fact copies of diatribes talking about collusion,
conspiracy and collaboration, all related to a "market," yes, but none of it
related to "trading."
This list aspires to be about "trading." I am glad to see the variety of
posts that exist here, a lot of it perhaps out on the fringe as far as
trading goes, but most of it interesting nonetheless. I don't want to see
RealTraders treated like a "bulletin board," and in that vein I support the
efforts to eliminate the posts that had become too monotonous to keep
deleting.
Good TRADING,
Dick Crotinger
