It would seem to Day Trade you need a fast AND reliable
executioner. Most internet brokerages do not fit this bill, including
DATEK, which is the highly touted brokerage for day trading. I put them in
a class with Waterhouse. For Position trading, one does not need this
immediate execution reliability, for the most part, and more brokerages will fit
this bill. It is more desirable, of course, but, when you are holding for
days, weeks, if you miss the trade by a point or two it is not significant
compared to missing a 15 minute trade by a point or two which can mean several
thousand in the hole.

We're back to this silly argument of which is better... position
trading or
day trading. The answer is which is better for you, your
personality, your
trading style, your risk tolerance, and your expendable
capital. There is
no right or wrong, gentlemen. Only the right or
wrong way for you. Stop
trying to shove your needs and preferences on
someone else.

Like Bill said, it's a matter of learning. Learn to
do well the method that
suits you. Now let's get back to
learning. You guys have already taught me
lots.

Linda
Swope's

there are those who have done it. Is a matter of fact, if one had started
with expeirience a couple years ago trading the internets, it would have
been easy to make 100% on their money in a year, very easy!
