<H3><B>New E-Mail Filter Provides Solution to Virus Disguised as Microsoft
Support Message</B></H3>
<P>CommandView Message Inspector Prevents Dangerous, Inappropriate Electronic
Communications from Entering the Workplace
<P>BURLINGTON, Mass., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Elron Software, a leading
provider of Internet management solutions, announced today a solution that can
prevent receipt of an e-mail virus disguised as a Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT)
solution to the Year 2000 computer bug.

)
<P>The bogus e-mail -- first reported on Friday -- contains an attachment with
a Trojan Horse virus that can obtain a user's personal login information,
including: password, login name, and user name. The e-mail is purported to be
from "support@xxxxxxxxxxxxx" and is being described by Microsoft as a "serious
issue," according to PC Week online.
<P>With CommandView Message Inspector from Elron Software, organizations can
prevent the receipt of this e-mail hoax -- and others like it -- by blocking
the e-mail based on its actual context, in addition to sender address and e-
mail subject.
<P>"By inspecting traffic before its gets on the network, an organization can
prevent dangerous, inappropriate content from entering the workplace," said
Elron Software's Ivan O'Sullivan, President of the Internet Products Division.
"E-Mail is a powerful application, but it needs to be effectively managed.
With Message Inspector, we provide the flexibility for organizations to decide
what is inappropriate for their work environment."
