I strongly second Ben's admonition to choose only those
whose statements have been audited. It's called protecting
yourself agains LIARS. Also, try to insure if all accounts are
traded equally. There is also the potential abuse that they may
publish results for only their best account. I have spoken to investors who
look at published results and reflected: "Humm.....he manages some of my
money and I don't show those results". One manager spliced results from
trading his small individual account to the so called real time track record
with that of investors money. Of course that's dishonest because he can't
achieve the same results with
investor's monies due to size and other problems.
