The only problem with this kind of analysis is that anytime the market has a
sharp runup you can then find a high correlation to a previous market runup.
Does that mean the market will crash again like in 1987 or 1929? Who knows?
The market has had alot of runups that didn't result in crashes such as
1996,1995,1989,1983,1976,1975,1967,1964,1963,1958,1954 and 1953.
