The time period is 1975 to now and we were looking at a 10% swingchart (all swings were 10% or greater).
The 17,3% you saw for march, means that of all the trendchanges that took place between 1975 and now, 17.3% took place in the month of March. (We had a total of 75 trendchanges 13 took place in March)
I was using continuous contract rolling over at end of expiration, using Unfair Advantage data.
But take a look at this one. This is a 15% percent swingchart using cash gold and daily data.from 1975
68% of all trendchanges took place in the 4 months feb/mar and Aug/sep or 19 of a total of 28 T/Cs
