To All,
This is not to disparage against Omega, just to recount my personal
experience and dissatisfaction.
I need to vent, so that is why I am posting this to many lists. I have
been with Omega since '92 Ver 3.0 days. I received a huge envelope with
my special offer to upgrade. I called sales and they want me to pay
over $1,000 for my upgrade and I only have until 8/16 to decide. The
sales rep said I was saving $800 from the retail price. I said I just
want to upgrade to TS 200 not the proSuite. He said, I know that is the
price I am quoting you. I asked why the price went up from the $500
that was offered when it first came out. He said he did not know why
the increase, but he presumed the upgrade price will go up again.
All I can say, is Omega more than likely will not get any more of my
money, especially since there are more competitors on the market and
still more coming on the market. I guess it is time for some serious
investigation into other products. TraderWare, TradeLab, and Ensign.
