I know nothing about TS, but Ensign has all of the features one could ask
for. Plus it is updated almost weekly at no cost. Howard is
one of the most accommodating people I have run into as far as helping
subscribers and modifying the program to suit an individuals needs.
If you are interested go to the ensign software site and join the news
group and you find out just what is happening with the program. YOu
can download a trial version and actually work with the prigram for a month.
The only draw back is that it only works with BMI, DTN and e signal, as
far as I know. It is Y2K compatible as is the DOS version. Ira

While all these things are disconcerning, bugs in MSFT products are not new
and in fact, are legendary. The company tends to slap things onto the
market before they are throughly tested and debugged but to their credit,
they do respond quickly to discovered flaws. I personally use Redhat
Linux for many internet activities such as Irc but even though this
operating system is far superior to windows, it is not a point and click
system, meaning one has to actually learn something to use it. It never
crashes and has no security faults but there are few software programs
written for it. (It can best be described as a kin to the old Mircrosoft
DOS). http://www.microsoft.com/security/bulletins/ms99-002.asp for
information and patches for the enclosed problems as well as click on The
Microsoft Product Security Information Service to keep yourself well versed
on the latest exploits and getting the patches to fix them almost before
they become a problem.
There are several virii out there that are sent by email or dcc transfer
which allow others access to your machine as well. To insure this doesn't
happen to you, simply never run any .exe file you didn't buy and install
yourself and don't accept dcc transfers from anyone other than your brother
and only then if you returned all his tools.
Good trading to all,
Bob
