On a number of occasions I have wanted to use a calculation such as a
cumulative average of something like the range and then apply the last
calculation to all of the data. If such a calculation was equal to 4.20 I
could simply use that figure to say divide all of the daily ranges by. But
if I wanted to get the same thing for another security I would have to
recalculate it and enter the figure by hand.
So what I am looking for is a function or code that would use the last
calculation and apply it to all of the data. Any help or ideas appreciated.
