As I recall, the calcualation is not explained there, but they offer a
program that you can buy.  It sounds like you feed that program a daily
data file downloaded from each exchange of interest and then it can
calculate your margin.  I have not explored short options, so I have no
further info.

If there's some "rules of thumb" that can be used to estimate margins on
option position, I'd be interested.
