<DIV>Hi RT's,</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>I just downloaded Windows on Wall St. (WOW), upgrade 7.5.&nbsp; It now
includes all the Greeks, delta, gamma, theta, and Vega.&nbsp; The user has a
choice of historic Greeks or implied Greeks (historic delta, implied delta,
historic gamma, implied gamma, etc.).&nbsp; The difference is slight but
noticeable.&nbsp; For example for an OEX Aug 725 call (OEZ HE)&nbsp;the historic
delta is 0.595&nbsp;and the implied delta is 0.575</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>I assume the difference in the calculations are that historic delta uses
historic volatility in the calculation and implied delta uses implied
volatility, however I do not know this for certain.</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>I have not seen any discussion of implied vs. historical Greeks in any
reference books.&nbsp; Can anyone provide more information, particularly if
there is a preference of one vs. the other?</DIV>
<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>
<DIV>Thanks in advance.</DIV>

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Good luck and good trading,</DIV>

these guys been in business?

Thanks for any response
