The best way to do this is for the sender to identify weather the code is for
2000i or Ver4, Systems and some of the new indicators are the biggest offender.
Alert statements can be much more complex and return indicator values, and
strings as well.

Also .els files are obviously for 2000i only. 


The first dawn of smartness is to stop trying things you don't
  know anything about----especially if they run to anything 
over a dollar.

I am wondering if there is way to tell if code posted to the list is TS4
or TS2000 ,,,seeing how ts2000 code has a habit of crashing ts4
