Ron,

Thanks for sharing the programs. Haven't seen Home Planet before.

I have had four free/shareware programs that may be of interest in the
(surprise) freedownloads section of my webpage for a year or so.

These include a free realtime Astro wheel probably just like the one
you described. The programs are as follows:

AstroLog

Astrolog is a Win, Dos, or Mac program that has so many features that I
couldn't them all. It displays the Universal Clock, and appears to update it
in realtime. It displays a virtual ephemeris, and everything is fully
configurable with MANY more features and options. Also available at the site
is 4.8 meg of additional ephemeris files for those demanding impeccable
accuracy

Astro Lab 2

Astro Lab 2 for Win95/98 can generate animated movies that simulate a
variety of astronomical events, including solar and lunar eclipses, lunar
and planetary occultations, transits of Mercury and Venus, the orbits of
Jupiter's bright moons, and the motions of the planets in the plane of the
ecliptic. Produce reports that predict the most important and exciting
astronomical events of the present, future, and past. Create graphs that
illustrate many astronomical concepts.

MoonTool

MoonTool is a nifty Win program by John Walker. It shows a .gif of the
current phase of the moon for a location that you can specify. It lists the
last and next four phase dates and times for the locality, lunar and solar
distances that apply to apogees and perigees, and much more that may be of
interest.

Calendar Explorer

This Win program allows you to add a number of calendar or business days,
and outputs the result. You can enter a date range, and it will give you the
calendar or business days between. There is a basic lunar phase calendar, as
well as additional feautures.

I supply the programs. How you use them or don't is entirely up to you!
<grin>

The url of the main page is
http://www.geocities.com/WallStreet/Market/3263/.

Caution to those who might be offended: in addition to the free stuff,
there are also links to book selections at Amazon, that actually paid me the
scandalous profit of about $3.00 this quarter.

If you don't like that, when you load the main page, close your eyes.
Hold down the page down key for a minute or so to be sure. Then open them
and all you'll see is the free stuff. <grin>

                                               Enjoy,
                                               Darrin
