For those interested in exploring the Astrology controversy for yourself
there are two programs you might want to examine. The first one is free.
It is "Home Planet" and it is free from www.fourmilab.ch
This is a windows program that will give you a view of the planets exact
potions against the ecliptic with the "real" constellations outlined.
The second one is called "Chart Wheels" from Astrolabe. www.alabe.com
This program has a Astrological Clock which allows you to see aspects
between planets real time. You can adjust it to a specific locality. I
paid $67 for this in 1992, I don't what it cost now. The copy I have is a
dos version and does not allow you to run it in a minimized window. I
think there is a more up to date version (windows) available. I have not
checked this out.
So if you are like me and want to find out for yourself, you might take a
look at these programs. If anybody knows of a another version of an
Astrological clock that runs under windows, please let me know.
