A scanner was not available to scan the chart in from page 87, but the dates
on the .gif for the buys and sells are the same. The data is also the same
as on the TASC chart. According to the trade plan it looks like some of the
trades were stopped out.
The only review I could find is this:
"The inauguration of Stocks & Commodities' Traders' Challenge in the May
issue of S&C brought in some good ideas and interesting approaches from ur
readers. It wasn't easy to decide which entry most deserved first place.
One contribution had the best forecast but was short on explanation, while
the remaining contributions provided adequate charts and explanations but
weren't as accurate regarding the forecast. In the final analysis, we
decided to award the title of Certified Technical Genius to NORMAN WINSKI,
Chicago, IL, due to the accuracy of his forecast. We have provided his
forecast, which arrived in our offices in late April along with a brief
explanation of his techniques, in Figure 2. His explanation appears below.
Curious, I contacted Mr. Winski to inquire as to the reasoning behind
his selection of the calendar dates for the buys and sells. He responded
that he used astrology for selecting these dates, which I didn't expect but
should have, since I've seen his ads in S&C. To each his own! "
