Though I think that Equis' Metastock program somewhat unique in
terms of how many days to use in the formula for historical volatility
compared to other programs (off by a day, I think, in the reference
function,) this free site for formulae may be of help to you.
Just scroll down to the 'H' for some ways to plot historical
volatility.
