For a look at a probability based approach to trading, check out "Gaming the 
Market" by Ronald B. Shelton.  Try Buybooks.com.  Around $33 US.  You will 
still need some programing capability such as quick basic, to apply this 
stuff.  Not my style, but very interesting and mathematicaly sound.
