Ok, I'm convinced that Equis has 2 data series working which would make it
possible to do all kinds of spreads, especially the intermarket spreads
which I like to use.
I have many charts in SuperCharts 4 with up to 10 data series, however there
are probably ways to accomplish the same/similar with fewer series. I am
attaching what I consider to be a relatively simple multi-series chart using
5 data series:
Data1 = S&P500
Data2 = NYSE adv issues
Data3 = NYSE dec issues
Data4 = NYSE new highs
Data5 = NYSE new lows
Plot1 = S&P500
Plot2 = Cum(Data2-Data3) i.e. cumulative adv issues - dec issues
Plot3 = Average(Data4-Data5, 10)) i.e. 10 day average of new highs - new
lows
I know some services provide symbols which combine all (recent) issues data
into one symbol, however my long term historical data is in separate series
and I must be able to handle them. Is this something which can be
accomplished with MS 6.52? If so, the final barrier would be removed to
dumping SuperCharts for my intermarket analysis work.
