I second Earls opinion on Miners book (he recommended it to me in the first
place). It is excellent and the wave applications are very well done and
thought out.

I have always used Elliott but my approach has always been... if its not an
obvious count, I can't use it. If it requires an x or double or anything
beyond the basic 3 and 5 wave pattern... Im not interested. If I can't
look at the chart and say... ummmm 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.... waves are in
proportion, time in wave looks about right... then I just can't trade with
it. But, when the wave is there and it is obvious... it can be a heck of
valuable tool. Ive read dozens of Elliott books over the last 15 years and
as far as I can recall Miner is about the first guy to admit that countable
waves just don't show up.

I thought this book one of the best 4 or 5 Ive ever come across. Miners
practicality is wonderful. His approach is tradable in the real world and
if nothing else his side comments (apart from Elliott)hold a lot of trading
wisdom. I am usually happy to learn one or two new things from any given
book... I learned a ton from this one.

Stewart.
