Dear Don:
There are many LEAPs "tradable". You need to look option chains on AMEX
or Philadelphia exchanges and the leaps are listed together with other
options for the stock. Also, I believe, there are special section on
LEAPs.
When you find the stock you are interesting at check options spread
between bid and ask, volume and open interest to estimate liquidity.
Philadelphia will list theoretical value of the option and percent
"overpriced" or "underpriced".
My experience with option is that to get a good price you need to buy
puts (sell calls) at "buying climax" and buy calls (sell puts) at the
"selling climax" of the underlining stock.
Hope it will help.
Yours, Alex.
