Why not request time and sales from the appropriate exchange
before drawing any conclusions. Were the fills poor or simply
not showing up? If they were poor fills that is one thing. Not
showing up can simply be out of sequence fills. Waterhouse is,
if I remember correctly, not a member firm of the CBOE and
therefore their orders are done by a correspondent broker. If
the fills are timely, but reported late that is a problem(which
gets the broker fined)but not nearly as bad as if they are lousy
fills. Do you gauge the quality of you fill by time and sales,
because that can be a poor measure of fill quality. In fast
markets T & S can show a lot of out of sequence stuff. By the
way Jack White isn't a member either which could very well mean
the orders are all being done by the same broker as they were
before the consolidation.
