Divergence is old hat; been around as long as Moses. And, there are times
when it works wonders and other times when it fails dramatically. I enjoy
fooling around with it using various indicators as MACD, Stochastics, etc.
but sure would never depend on a divergence signal alone. Try using
divergence of the TRIN with the S&P, its neat but certainly no holy grail!
Anyone, as we all know, can pick out a chart or two or more and show a great
trade(s); I'm sure that we all have seen hundreds of them, especially in
the literature that the promoters send out offering "proof positive" for
their various systems. Pure bunk.
