No one, least of all myself, would say that day trading was easy. Far from
it. I would have thought that position trading would be a lot less stress
in the actual execution and monitoring of the trade.
Day trading is hard work. No question about that. The point that I was
trying to make was that to become a good position trader would require a
ton of experience at being able to forecast. Very few people (witness this
list) can forecast with any consistency at all. Everyone has a view,
based on, etc, etc... and most seem to rely on wave counts and the like to
point to where the market is going.
With day trading the right instrument you can learn what's what and toil
away each day with a r/r/r that will give you a good living - and you can
learn what is essential to know, in reasonably good order. It can be done
and is being done every day, that's all.
