good morning
i am one of those that got stopped yesterday
i did own a june put but sold it when the sp closed 2.4% above its
10day low
but i still lost a major pat of my profits because i was filled on 8
contracts
6.7 points UNDER my stop!!!!
continue holding the put decrease you profits by 70% (put losing
premiums as price of sp increases.
the only conciliation is:::
they put HIGHER premiums on the puts on a day like yesterday..
the optimum stop is always a viyda stop
it adjusts to the volitility of market.
it tightens in small vol periods and opens in hi volatility periods
but was unable to program such a stop into s.c 4.0
hope this help
Ben
