I concur, Earl. The best combination of electronic order entry (Timberhill's
Interactive Broker Workstation) and a real live broker to back you up
(preferably also using the IB) that I've been able to find in a few years of
daytrading the spoo is Summit Management. The specific person I'm referring to
(broker) is a daytrader himself of many years experience. He can advise you of
his *very* competitive rates and other particulars. In case you haven't guessed,
he's a member of this list who's modesty & ethics prevent him from obviously
soliciting your business. His name is Tom Alexander and you can contact him at:
gta3@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I am not connected w/ him or Summit Management or Refco (clearing firm) in any
way except as a very satisfied customer.
