At Datek and most other firms I know, you do not pay for partial fills.
So if you placed a trade for 1000 shares and they filled you in say 200
share blocks, you pay once ($10)
However, if you cancelled any part of your initial 1000 lot order, then
re-ordered to make up the 1000 lot, you would pay multiple commissions.
