I have met Ed Moore.  I don't think he's ever been on a trading floor or
worked on one.  He used to be some sort of broker at Hanover Securities in
NY.  I think he may have made some money using a buy and hold strategy in
the stock market.  It's my guess that he doesn't make money in the S&P's.
I'm not sure he even trades them.  I can guarantee that the big investment
bank (or even small proprietary) trading floors are not filled with people
who have taken courses from the back of futures magazine.  Ask to see his
account statements and ask him how many institutional traders he's trained.
That goes for all vendors.  Anyway, I'd be surprised if you found anyone
trading his methodology who made consistent profits.  Save your money and do
your own thinking.  Of course, hope springs eternal.
