This is also a dwindling market because practically all insurance policies
issued in the last 10 years have a provision that allows for the patient to
get most of the insurance proceeds directly from the insurance company in
these situations. They would have lost heavily on me because I was diagnosed
with terminal cancer back in 1989. Of course, I may be the only person to
survive this type of cancer when it is first diagnosed as stage 4,
metastasized. (Stage 5 is death and metastasized means it had spread
throughout the lymph nodes). The investors on my policy would have really
been upset.
