Maybe we could leave this up to the Moderators.
Personally, I can see the dilemma when there are generic forums such as
this one as well as software-specific forums, such as Omega. For example, I
am not on the Omega list (don't use their software), but could be
interested in the theoretical basis that would underlie a study that
someone might choose to program in Omega. I haven't seen a lot of
cross-posting, so I must not be on all of the lists that some of you are on.
Maybe the cross-posting is an egregious misallocation of bandwidth, but
maybe the charters of the different groups allow for some overlap, as
currently written, and that may or may not be a good thing, depending on
the intent of each list owner.
