"Crash" is an emotional word. It does however get your attention.
The Cabot Letter has made similar observations.
Basically, when the Major Averages are making New Highs
at the same time the New LOW list is expanding over
(a specific number) depending on use of IBD or WSJ,
	You have DIVERGENCE ALERT.
If at the same time, a broad based average like the NYSE is
failing to confirm (a specific number, is used again), then
	you have DOUBLE DIVERGENCE ALLERTT!
This is NOT PREDICTIVE
It is NOT A FORCAST
IT IS AN OBSERVATION.
If you have, in the past, observed that similar divergence have
occurred before major down turns in the market, then you will
likely take precautionary measures to protect yourself from
the worst of such occurrences.
Ask yourself how such divergence can occur in the first place?
Could it be, that others are already taking precautionary measures?
