Not much in the way of new opinions, however watching this market yesterday
and this morning is fascinating! S&P and NASDAQ have tanked big time, Dow
averages are all up, breadth is positive, Ru2000 is taking biggest hit
percentage-wise, treasuries are down, oil index is up nicely, gold/silver
index is going through the roof, broker index is going through the floor,
copper and lumber are up. Seasonally, we have entered the annual period of
weakness in tech stocks. I think the market is exhibiting some fear in the
face of high valuations. If a shift out of the nifty fifty growth stocks is
underway, I doubt that the value stocks can fight a tidal wave - the
paradigm shift from momentum to value is a deep and wide chasm.
