If you trade Level II you would probably not be  satisfied with buying
only one stock. If you trade SP futures you only have one entity to
worry about.  With stocks you must keep track of each one of them. If
the market goes up the futures go up, visa versa.  With stocks  you may
pick the market right but your stock or stocks may not follow suite.
