In my opinion, Mr. Bressert has made some important contributions to
cycle analysis. I have successfully adapted many of his broader
concepts to my own work. He offers several subscription services, but
I've always found them to be longer term in orientation and out of
step with the requirements of my own short-term work. Cycle work has
some merit, but oftentimes, I have found that it just takes too long
to find out whether your analysis is correct or not. I'm just not
willing to work with $1000 stops to find out if I'm right!
Mr. Bressert has his own site in which you can read about and even
download some code for the creation of many of his indicators. He also
offers a book on using oscillators in cycle analysis. It's a good read
with lots of examples for use with longer time frames, but for
shorter-term interests, I think you are better off focusing elsewhere.
