I also looked at QC/QF over the last few days.  VERY interesting.  I 
don't know if/when QF will support the popular trading platforms, but 
it occurred to me that a largely system-based trader could 
conceivably chuck his TradeStation and write trading systems directly 
using the QF data feed.  Especially if the QF package includes any 
decent charting &etc libraries.

I'm not sure how far back data is available, which is an important 
issue for backtesting, but it does look promising.

That's pretty slow when you're used to flipping from one TS workspace 
to another in a split second, but I suppose you could get used to it.
