This is way off topic so if you want to discus it, send private notes.

but in response to Gary's statements.

Gary think you are way off base. To begin with, war only improves economies
if
it increases money flow. This war is not increasing money flow in a
significant way.

No country is supplying weapons to Serbia, humanitarian aid can not get in
to the country and therefore is not being
purchased for Serbia. Further, people are being displaced which means their
money is being confiscated
and consolidated which actually reduces money flow in the local economy.

The reality is that this conflict is restricting international travel in too
Europe, which is a major factor in European economies.
So that reduced money flow.

The only organizations that could benefit are the arms manufactures that
will be re-supplying the
NATO militaries. The interesting thing is that they are using a lot of
missiles and smart bombs that have been around
for a long time. These arms are possibly not Y2k compatible. The
interesting thing is that the in congressional meetings about
military y2k issues, the pentagon has expressed concern about the
instability of these weapons beyond Y2K and the
cost to dispose of them. Interesting right, OK know consider the fact that
replacements arms that are Y2K compatible and with greater intelligence have
already been manufactured and are in our arsenal. So again we do not get a
significant increase in money flow.

Track the money flow. If you see an significant increase in money flow,
then you have an economy that can benefit.
