Linda,

You might look into a course on tape offerred by "The Learning Company" at
1-800-teach-12. They offer a variety of courses. Everything from
Existentialism to Algebra. I bought "Economics: An Introduction" for about a
hundred bucks on audio. It includes 20-30 minute lectures on micro and macro
economics. It covers what you would get in first semester micro and macro
economics at the college level without the math and the graphs. It is
understandable, listenable and I have been very pleased with the course. They
also have a new economics course out, however, I don't know much about it. If
you call the number above, I am sure they will send a catelog.
