I just mention the difference between globex
(mini s&p, euro, currencies) and Project A (grains, bonds, Dow futures and
options plus a few others) because I feel it's time for active electronic
traders to look into leasing a membership and using terminals to trade
direct. I did so last year on Project A but found the hours to be
rough. Now I'm interesting in finding out more about daytrading with
the Mercantile's Globex system (during the day). With low commissions and
instant fills, it's pretty hard to beat for an active trader, especially for
spreaders like myself.

Importantly I'm pretty tired of paying $500/day
in SOES execution commissions (some pay much more of course) when commodity
exchange members/lessees have a cap on commissions of about $25,000 per
year. This is a huge edge (all things being equal, a $75.000 contribution
to me rather than a broker/dealer) , and I find it's necessary to have at least
one edge in this business. Instant executions and no need to deal with
humans and human error is another. Does anyone use a Globex terminal or
have any thoughts on these issues.

Johnny -
I have one question - are you in any way affiliated with
www.tradehard.com, beyond being just a subscriber?
If so, please disclose this fact when you make such claims that "I am a
really big fan of [Larry Connor] primarily because his methods work."
Thanks.
Sincerely,
Michael Strupp
